I second the views entirely as expressed by Mr.Raj.In this age of technology,we are following the age old rotten process to leverage the system in a faulty way.Why can not be there any change in this, is very difficult to understand.Time to overhaul the archaic system and make it apt for day.

Dear All,
I think in this day and age when self attestation is being considered as sufficient for copies of certificate, the archaic practice of asking candidates to send their original certificates by post for verification is plain stupid.
Who'll be responsible for lost certificates ?
Why not create a portal to apply for certificates and ask candidates to upload scanned copies ?
Is it because this has the potential to dry up illegal income source that the certificate dispatch process has become ?
If the country's premier mine safety organization is so afraid and averse to simple technology then god only knows how they intend to ensure safety of miners.
Yours respectfully,
A tech loving mining engineer
