A blasting shelter is a temporary structure made of steel and this is a very robust construction having a very strong roof, made especially for blaster and his assistants for taking shelter into it before firing a shot. Construction of such type of structures should be such that they can be easily shifted by dismantling. The Skeleton of the structure is made either of steel pipes or channel girders or rails and also the whole structure is covered by the strong steel sheets. For obtaining the cushioning effects sand bags are generally kept over the strong roof and also around the side walls of blasting shelter.
