Friends,
A lot has been said on the subject without understanding the legal aspect of e-filing.
The fact is that DGMS has been grappling since ages with the menace of fake certificates - degree, diploma and experience and it is hard to bring the culprits to justice.
With e-filing, it will be even harder to gather evidence unless provisions of Information Technology Act are followed. The Act requires for the filer to obtain DIGITAL SIGNATURE. There is a process and cost involved in obtaining Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). It is only thereafter, the e-filing can be accepted and filer can be held accountable.
Are we all prepared?
