I have seen slurry pumps being used for stowing tailings at a underground copper mine at Surda. The slurry pumps are working very efficiently.
I am giving you the mobile number of Mr. Tarak Nath Singh (09661920123), a geologist who is presently working at Surda. You can have details of hydraulic stowing from him. After working at Surda I have a feeling that the same technology can be used in UG coal mines.
