Dear sir,
So far my knowledge goes there is no statutory provision or guidelines from Directorate about how frequent SMPs and Risk management plans be updated. But it is desired to make SMPs and Risk management plans before any new operation starts, new machinaries are introduced or as and when Mines inspectors need such plans. In any case such plans be framed and must be submitted to DGMS for statutory approval.
