Dear Group Members

It is fact that  a probability of accidents in small open mine sector is not in proper level  and   need to improve the supervision.

There is needed to establish a system of safety  through  group safety  promotion  centre and safety promotion programs.  My experience about minor minerals and their mining  in the Nagpur Region. DGMS Nagpur  invites  small mines / cluster of mines of stone/aggregate  in the safety week and conducts an inspection.

Appointment of Group Statutory Officers  and  volunteer  training program for quarry- workers may be suggested in the sector to prevent the safety.

Dear Mr. Gaurav roy,
U r absolutely true, DGMS is not much bothered minor minerals like Granite,  Aggregate, Quartz and clays mines,  all these mines were using HEMM and blasting. If DGMS concentrate on these mines they can create about 5000 mining engineer jobs. Now its time for us to bring notice to DGMS and Minster.

Dear group members,
I would like to know if their is some relaxation regarding rule for employment of second class mines managers in minor mineral mines of construction aggregate(masonary stone, black trap) by any of the rules & regulations. Most of these type of mines in gujarat do not employ mining engineers with mentioned qualifications even though heavy machinery and deep hole drilling blasting is done.I have seen that even DGMS do not pressurize them to comply with rules as the reason that we are told by director of mines safety is always that they do not know that mining of construction aggregate is being done in the said area.
Regards,
Gaurav Roy
