What is limit of ground vibration
Varies for different structures belonging to the owner and not belonging to the owner and frequency of the ground vibrations- See details below
Criterion for fixing of threshold vibrations for different structures (DGMS Tech Cir No. 7 of 1997)
Type of Structure
Dominant Excitation Frequency, Hz

> 25 Hz

>Slipping hole
Is it sleeping hole?
>Fly rock
it is a rock fragment projected under impulse from expanding gases to unwanted distances and has a potential to damage, injure and cause fatalities. The current danger zone is placed at 500 m (consequence based) by DGMS
>Control blasting
The term is loosely used for control of parent rock damage (that falls in contour blasting regime) but involves control of ground vibration, air overpressure and flyrock.
>Satellite holes
Satellite holes are shallow holes drilled in between the production holes and filled with small quantities of explosive to break the rock in stemming zone. Practiced in mines where large boulders emanate  from the stemming zone after blasting.
