3 dead in Inner Mongolia mine accident

Three people are dead and two others injured after a mining accident late on
Friday in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, said regional
authorities.
At about 11:15 p.m. Friday, a bucket fell down the shaft of a niobite mine
when the steel hawser broke. The mine in the Xilingol League in western
Inner Mongolia belongs to Mengjin Mineral Investments.
Five workers were in the shaft when the accident occurred.
Investigation is underway.
