Dear Sirs,
Can any body put some more information on the qualification, experience requirements of the electrical supervisor especially for a Open Cast Metaliferrous Mines under highly mechanized category. Our Mines is having MV installations mostly in 240V/ 415 V AC, 50 Hz & 690 V, 6.6 KV & 33 KV installations including overhead distribution lines, VCBs, cables, HT motors, VFDs, Switchboards, Diesel generators upto 500 KVA, 415 V etc. We carry out operation and maintenance departmentally. Connected load is much more than 6000 HP. Shift wise production is more than 9000 T & a total more than 25000 T per day @ 1800 TPH.
What are the requirements of Electrical Supervisor's Certificate of Competency covering mining installations especially for MV & HT installations?
The Rule 115 says more than one supervisor is required & appointed in a mine, is there a standard guideline by any statute/ any electrical inspector for the adequacy of the no. of electrical supervisors per shift & for maintenance for our mine.
Can we know the source of the information/document attached for the adequacy of the electrical supervisor by Mr. Narayan Reddy R.
Regards,
H K Bhagwani
