Dear Mr Mohanty
We have to monitor the stacks. The oldest stack should be dispatched first. Provide water facilities in case heating starts. Now a day thermal cameras are available to monitor heating. House keeping in stockyard is essential. You may visit many sites which are ill maintained. The local people/miscreants easily have an access to the coal stock. Old stocks are left for many months giving rise to spontaneous heating.

Regards

Dear members,

Is there any guidelines in CMR to check/take necessary steps to avoid fire hazard in the coal stockyard. If yes please inform.
