You have to complete your mate exam first. Three years after passing Mate Exam, you can appear for Second class exam with 4 paper scheme, you may be (Edit: No exemption is possible) exempted with Mining Machinery Paper, as you are having Diploma Mechanical Certificate.

Dear all

I possess master degree in Geology and also Diploma Mechanical Engineering.

I am currently working in Metalliferous Mines since 2 years.

I would like to Know whether i am eligible for 2nd class mines manager
examination or and related to mechanical engineer.

Please let me know ASAP.
