There is no provision for transport of men in large OC mines,but There is safety guidelinesto framed by safety officers,with combination of dgms circulars -break testing,reversal alaram and trafic rules for vehicle movements,Etc-------------------------------------------
and the vehicles checked every shift by competent person before alowing in side the vehicle.
and also once in 24 hours shift engineer and once in fort night auothrised engineer for checking vehicles regarding testing of breaks other records etc.

There is no DGMS circular wrt to transportation of men in OC
mines.All the large OC mines uses pickup van, Jeep to drop
inside the mine to their shovel/drill. Also it is necessary
to keep DGMS informed about the mode of transportation with
in the mine. Furthe from township to mine entrance mine
management may arrange a common bus or person may make his
own arrangement. It is advisable to travel with company
vehicle , such that in case of accidents complications will
be avoided

Mode of

transport depends upon no. of persons and decision of

management. As such there isn't any provision
regarding

approval of the vehicle from DGMS.
