Very sad news. He was a gentleman to core. I too had glimpses of him when he was our DDMS after his tenure in Kabul, Afghanistan & DMS at Oorgaum, KGF. I couldn't meet him after I left BGML and joined DGMS. Praying God for the departed soul. Shradhhanjali.
It is with profound sadness, I have to inform all the members that Mr. P. Dharmarao passed away in Hyderabad on 24th November. He leaves behind his wife who has stood with him all life and in his recent illness.
I have very fond memories of Mr. Dharmarao as my senior colleague in DGMS Head Office in Dhanbad and later when he headed Southern Zone as DDG, Hyderabad. Even after retirement he was active in the industry, helping those in need.
I remember when the unofficial DGMS website http://www.dgms.net was on the verge of closure for want of funds, he so generously came forwarded to share the cost and contributed to the cause.
RIP Mr. Dharmarao! We will always remember you.
