Sir,
For a mega infrastructure project (involving 50 Million Cu.M.) , bulk explosive is proposed to be used. I solicit views of the statutory authorities / experts's opinion, if the bulk explosive company can engage their blasters (On Bulk explosive Company's pay roll) to fire the shots?
Unlike Mining Companies, the excavation contractor does not necessarily have a Mine's Blaster. More so, if at all they engage one, he may not be conversant with Bulk explosives or mega blasting involved.
Further, being a time bound project, bigger blasts have to be executed (asking rate per blast is 10000 Cu.M). Tow to three such blasts are to be executed per day to meet the targets.
Please update me, if bulk explosive supplier can shoulder the responsibility of the shot, in infrastructure project. Regards!
