If perusing BE Mining Engineering, he has to apply for PDPT on diploma basis.
On the basis of Degree level it may or may not be possible according to criteria of past recruitments...
and Break is Important because we cannot carry regular BE course and PDPT at the same time.

Dear group members I want to say that one of my friend completed diploma in mining and after that he continued BE in mining and now he is in Vth semester he didn't done pdpt now he wants to do pdpt So he could be able to obtain overman certificate of  competency please suggest if is it possible to give a break to a regular BE or after completing BE if he do PGPT then he will eligible for obtaining overman certificate in place of IInd class mine managers certificate as it is easy to get a job in coal India with Overman's certificate but if he wants to go through BE then he has to clear GATE exams ! Waiting for answers !
