International standard is 0.075m3/s/kw diesel engine opearted. At least you should provide 0.06m3/s/kw to dilute the fumes

Subject: DGMS Mailing List: Ventilation Requirement for Diesel Operated Equipments.

Dear Friends,
We are operating a underground metal mine with diesel operated LHDs, LPDTs in Odisha.
We want to assess the ventilation air requirement in underground from the prospective of diesel operated machineries only.

How to find out ?

Some one suggested to take 5 CuM/minute of air per brake horse power (BHP) of all machineries. Is it right ?
Plz suggest what are the guiding principles, circulars etc available.

With Warm Regards,
