Air requirement for an engine is based on its compression system configuration, firing sequence, air cooling breahting arrangement, Turbo charging etc. A detailed study for air requirement for the specific set of equipment under standard/max load condition is to be made. A set of standard data in respect of individual equipment esp from Caterpillar, Liberr, Volvo, Hitachi Cumins etc are available
