A good question. I do not think any rider exists. However these being work on surface( not in the mine including haul roads, dumps, process plant etc) i think we should get exemption on a case wise basis

In a Mettaliferrous mine, for the temporary nature of work on surface (like building construction, excavation work, electrical fitting, repair of a machine etc etc) which would involve persons to work from a period between 2,3 days to 3 months depending on the job, What is the requirement of training.

For a very limited period, it is not possible/feasible for contractors as well as the company to have 12 days training for contractors workers.

Is there any guideline, circular on the training requirement for such workers.
